We (La Flor Spanish Institute) can design Spanish lessons fitted to your personal needs, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student; whether you need basics for traveling, business language or just want
to practice conversation. |
| The unique Spanish language training will allow the student to maintain an interaction with the community by practicing Spanish with native speakers and learning about Costa Rican culture in a practical way. |

IIn order to have the best progress and participation, the classes have a maximum of four students. Classes use a variety of dynamic teaching techniques. |
| La Flor Agro-ecological farm is surrounded by tropical gardens, a tropical forest of 10 ha. and organic agriculture where most of our food comes from. |

The concept behind voluntary work is learning-by-doing. In most cases La Flor can accommodate your preferences as to in what area you would like to volunteer. The options range from organic agriculture, work in the forest,
with the animals, in the medical garden, in arts or construction. |
| We offer environmental education to childrens' groups from abroad or locally. |

La Flor maintains a medical garden with a variety of healing plants. |
| We offer three healthy meals a day. Local women from the community cook traditional food, which is mostly vegetarian. Meat is very rarely offered at La Finca. |

On our farm we have goats, horses, chickens, and geese who help supply much of the food we cook in our vegetarian restaurant. |
| These volunteers are working in the tropical forest in regeneration. We have 10 ha. of forest that needs constant attention. |

The cabins for the volunteers are equipped with comfortable bunk beds, warm showers and enough shelf room. We also provide sheets and linens. |
